VENDOR INFORMATION

The 2023 Queen City Market will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 in the Seneca One Lobby at 1 Seneca St, Buffalo, NY 14203, from 11am-5pm.

Each vendor will be provided a 10' x 6' space in the window filled lobby of Seneca One. Please note: This year, the Queen City Market is forgoing providing tables and chairs. Vendors are permitted to bring their own tables, chairs, and set-up materials as long as it fits within the 10' x 6' space. Additional items, for example, back walls and racks must be cleared with the vendor organizers and will be discussed further upon acceptance. We understand some vendors need to bring a clothing/accessories rack or back wall to display their goods. While we allow some, not everything can be admitted. Due to the size and setup of the market, all vendors must use the spaces we provide. There will be 2' of open space between vendor areas to allow breathing room between spots.

The Queen City Market is a small juried market and vendors are selected based on product quality and section availability.

Vendors can only bring and sell original work, vintage (20+ years old), and curated secondhand items shown or described in their Queen City Market Application.

Your area is your space, so please work with what you have and please respect the space of the people around you.

No hanging or drilling on any surface on the walls at Seneca One.

Vendors must remain set up at their space until the close of the Queen City Market. If something comes up, please contact us prior to the show so we can work something out. If you sell out of your goods during the market, please let us know.

Mass produced factory goods are prohibited from the Queen City Market. No MLMS, please.

No music is allowed inside your vendor space.

Splitting a space with another vendor: If you plan to split a space with another vendor, you must let us know by November 1, 2023. There are certain regulations that we have to follow, so please send us a quick note so we can approve the new vendor.

In order to sell food at the Queen City Market, vendors must have a certificate with the Health Department saying they are permitted to sell food. Vendors should contact the NYS Department of Agriculture & Markets, if they haven't done so already. This is for consumer safety of both the vendor and the buyers. Please let us know if you are registered and let us know if you have any questions. Only the vendors that have already cleared it with us are allowed to sell food/beverages. NYS law requires all food vendors to have proper permits in order to sell food at the Queen City Market. Those vendors will need to provide proper documentation, which they can just keep on hand at their space.

No commissions on artist's sales will be retained by Queen City Market or Seneca One. However, all participating artists are responsible for collecting and paying the appropriate New York State Sales tax on all items sold. By agreeing to be a vendor, you acknowledge that you have been made aware of this and cannot hold the organizers of the Queen City Market, Seneca One, or any of the market’s sponsors responsible should you be found in transgression of this procedure.

If for some reason you can’t attend the event, please let us know by emailing us at queencitymarket@gmail.com. Vendor fees are nonrefundable 4 weeks before the market.

Please note: Due to the covid-19 ongoing pandemic, we may not be able to accept as many vendors as past markets. The health & safety of our community is a top priority and we will be following both local and national recommendations as our guide. Since these guides tend to change quickly, we will update our health & safety protocols closer to each event with more information.
